| Kaweka challenge
course 5, duathlon, run-mtb-run
Such a fun event. first mountain running event and it was awesome! was about 37.15 to the top of kuripapango then slow down, mtb was 16km and about 45mins then back to the events centre from lakes was running. all up running was 13km. legs felt awesome for the first 15mins then got a bit lactic but still feeling good. no shin probs, legs getting a buit sore on the last run though from the descent from kuripapango. I won open men by 19 mins. |

| Rode from home out to riverhead then did part of the old xc track down to longbush up to the trig down pattersons then did most of a lap of the new sc track and then home via ararimu valley road. legs feeling ok. |

legs feeling average at the start but got better. shins felt fine. ran with orthotics in my shoes which helped i think. Didnt really make any mistakes only a few small control circle errors near the start. |
