mtb from home out to riverhead to watch bj and kat in akl schools mtb champs. bj got 2nd, after battle with 1st and kat was 3rd. went and did a loop and then home afterwards, forgotten how much i love mountain biking on cool dry tracks

rob and marquitas checking control sites, pretty cruisy run, shin is average

cruisy ar ride up to 4wd adventures. legs felt mint as! transitional week this week while me and james figure out a plan for jwoc. motivated as after the weekend.

Monday Mar 24

nz relay champs
1st leg for NorthWest 1
2nd fastest on the leg, 16 sec behind ross. felt strong as, plan was to stay in the front bunch and go with breaks, went exactly to plan. got ahead of ross for 2 controls in the last loop but then dropped 20 sec and he came back through. small error on 20 and some hesitation around 7 and 8. happy that i can run with the big boys finally.
Mark brought our team home like the machine that he is, for 1st ahead of hawkes bay 2nd and 3rd.

jogged around, feet quite sore from ar last weekend, but could handle it.
