A nice brisk post haircut run - my head was a wee bit cold though!
#Buzzing for tonight's night o at Balmedie, might have to take a detour to "accidentally" run all over Trump's golf course! I'll just say I got lost :P

Orienteering race 44:30 [3] 6.48 km (6:52 / km)

"Let's go to the beach, each! Let's go get away!"
DNC at balmedie - did the long course (5.1k) which was pretty good fun falling down sand dunes and getting sand everywhere! Luckily I don't hate sand because it's coarse, it's rough, it's irritating and it gets everywhere :P The orienteering itself was alright but a wee bit scrappy overshooting a few controls here and there. Decided not to give Trump's golf course a visit as he just isn't worth the effort!
Almost forgot that I saw the one the only John Mason sporting a fantastic Christmas jumper who was up to his usual tricks cracking out jokes about how Santa does not like going down chimneys because he's CLAUStrophobic :P lol

It's good to be back home and able to run in the woods :) beats meadows miles any day :P Went through Foggieton up into Countesswells and round Kingshill. Was fine underfoot for trainers for most of it but did get stuck in a few muddy patches and almost decked it a couple of times! That all just adds to the excitement though :D Absolutely loved it today for some unknown reason :P

3x10 Overhead reverse lunge (20kg)
3x8 Back squat (40 warm-up, 60kg)
3x8 Deadlift (60kg)
3x8 Dumbbell benchpress (16, 16, 18kg DB)

Circuit Session: 3 sets of 30 seconds on, 15 seconds gap, 1 minute between sets

Had a niceish wee jolly around Blackford and a bit of the Hermitage. Legs were a tad sore probably because I haven't ran this much in a week for a while!! Got a cheeky wee segment tho as downhill is fun :) #downhillspecialist

Haries FUN Christmas relay with Jonny and we beat all the other haries! #goorienteers :) Everyone was loving my rudolph hat!!

(2.75k warm up 13:50, 4.5k (roughly 10x 450m intervals) 14:46, 1.05k warm down 5:15)
