Combined trail & road 42:53 [1] 7.52 km (5:42 / km) +120m 5:17 / km
shoes: Adidas Tempo

40' easy with Emily in Edinburgh. Calves very stiff from Duncan's (failed) attempts to test them to failure yesterday.

Note

Physio session with Duncan. He assessed my arse and leg and didn't seem too concerned. No running today as travelling pretty much all day.

Road Running 30:06 [2] 5.95 km (5:04 / km)
shoes: Adidas Tempo

30' easy. Not quite Shackleton cold but getting there. Opened the taps a couple of times to remind myself of the achilles / arse pain so I can describe it to doctor spoon in the morning.

Road Running 35:00 [3] 6.8 km (5:09 / km) +50m 4:58 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw 225

35' easy. Not actually sure how far or long I went as, for the first time ever, I forgot my watch. Needless to say, it was neither far, fast, nor pain-free.

Road Running 45:21 [2] 8.72 km (5:12 / km) +72m 5:00 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw 225

45' cold. And I mean cold like a cunt's trick. Kept sticking my hands down the back of my tights to stop my arse falling off.

Road Running 38:51 [2] 7.5 km (5:11 / km) +42m 5:02 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw 225

40' easy. Really cold, really slippy so I wore my spikes. Achilles much the same as ever, that's to say that it gives very little pain at the start and builds up via a tugging through my arse. Hopefully uri can sort me oot.

Sunday Jan 15, 2017 #

Note

Snow clearing and 3 hours walking but no running.
