Red Hill to Mount Mugga Mugga via the two hills in between, then down and around the bottom of the quarry / tip, then down to Mugga Lane, and back through Narrabundah (got a bit lost) then back up Red Hill and along. Don't know how long it was was taking it easy.

Orienteering race (Mt. Taylor) 41:00 [3] *** 7.0 km (5:51 / km) +300m 4:49 / km
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 10

excellent;
failed in the rocks at the first control and Pete caught the minute on me.
Won the route choice challenge to number 2 thanks to a track.

decided to take the ridiculous over the hill option to number 4 on the basis that I hadn't ran up Mt. Taylor before and that Matt Crane had promised me a dollar in the car park if I got there; Pete followed and pipped me at the line to get to the trig first.

stopped for the spectacular view for a few minutes, then I took the track option down the hill and Pete took the spur. track paid off once again.

route choice challenge all the way back; Pete got me into the finish.

nice run. I think the bandits did it in about 31 minutes. but then they took the serious route choices and didn't stop to enjoy the view.

The printer (for tomorrows maps) accidently printed a surplus pile of maps; so will have to go back for training.

Orienteering warm up/down (Mt. Taylor) 30:00 [0] ***

Was going to go for a long run on Mt. Taylor and also make sure everythign was still fine for Thursday;
but I realised I had left my running shoes behind when I got there, and instead went for a walk around.

Have decided this is one of my two favourite maps in Canberra (alongside the pinnacle).

looking forward to Wednesday now.
