Running (Hill and trail running) 1:27:05 [2] 13.81 km (6:18 / km) +434m 5:27 / km

Felt good today, real mixture of climbs and ended up being climbs which were walk then run, walk then run which was good as that's what i need to work on. i climbed better today and descended pretty well. Weather was wet, windy and cold. Planned to go higher up in the hills but the weather was bad and I didn't want to get cold and then ill.

Really really pleased with this run. I ran well and I'm feeling better! I'd been a big despondent this past week that it seemed to be taking a while to get over this cold but I feeling a lot better. No more coughing or sinuses. I ran 16k as it felt like a round number and good enough test. Splits were evening, couple if hills brought the av splits down abit but only 5 k's were less than 4.25 and 8 k's less than 4.20. Probably the rest of my legs helped abit.

Sadly still not feeling great (although I do feel better this evening). So opted for an easy run instead of moderate. Frustrating as it's getting closer to next weekend's race. Still abit of a sore chest and sinuses sore but better this evening so hopefully back on it tomorrow. Aim for a moderate run and push back long run to Saturday? Feel like it makes sense?

Still haven't recovered as chest was tight, similar to an eighty year old smoker. Just having to work harder on my chest and throat as sinuses still full of cold. I feel cold but may be not as well as I thought for a hill session. Disappointed but made the decision to only do 3. Just felt rubbish and tired, shameas o nailed this session last week.

Easy running with steep walkable climb. Nice to be back running, felt Ok, better towards end. Chest still abit sore and just generally abit tired but ran Ok. I'm not good at walking and this was Ok but my calfs felt tight. Other than that had a few good sections of downhill and ran pretty decent on those.
