Running, mostly off road 24:00 [2] 5.21 km (4:36 / km) +50m 4:24 / km

Easy wake up route on the trails and parks around town. More bounce in the legs after less running yesterday.
2 PM

Running, mostly off road warm up/down 56:57 [2] 11.34 km (5:01 / km) +100m 4:49 / km

Warm up on the first part of the race course and the hill next to it. Cool down running from the top of Glas T back to the start. Had a massive energy crash halfway down but kept in one piece until getting back to the food. Racing in the afternoon isn’t my favourite.

Hill running race 34:15 [5] 7.15 km (4:47 / km) +670m 3:16 / km

Glas Tulaichean uphill. Another step in the right direction to becoming a mountain runner again. Was a bit unsure how hard I was running in the first part but for main the uphill I was definitely pushing myself as hard as I could. Chris Richards was with me for the first 1-2km then I pulled away on the climb to win by just under 2’. Bit of a headwind on the first half and raining throughout but better conditions than last time I raced it. ~50s slower than KJ’s record but happy with that at this stage.
