Easy warm up on the Deeside line then more easy running up to Crathes castle after the tempo. First few minutes I was tired but then everything got gradually easier.

Short tempo on the Deeside way to the Milton then a bit beyond. Felt better than expected, bit of a headwind but all fine.

Crathes parkrun on the new course. Slightly more elevation and 1km less on the tarmac which is ideal. It was a good workout and I managed to push myself fairly hard. Ran a few seconds quicker than on the other course and so did Ginie which was interesting as I was expecting it to be a lot slower but the dry trails probably made a big difference.
