Road Running 52:00 [3] 12.1 km (4:18 / km) +140m 4:04 / km

In Glasgow, ran along the River Kelvin and through some parks, trying to pick the most interesting and undulating routes possible. Legs feeling fine and the pains from the marathon have gone

Road Running 40:00 [3] 9.5 km (4:13 / km) +100m 4:00 / km

Running the other direction by the river then a few short uphills in Kelvingrove park. Feeling good, did some strides on the way back

Hill running 1:30:00 [3] 16.0 km (5:38 / km) +650m 4:41 / km

First proper hilly run for a while. Up Ingleborough along a ridge with another hill as well. Watching the 3 peaks race. Some snow and boggy ground, should help strengthen the foot. Generally felt very good on uphills. Took it easy on the rocky or muddy downhill

In Aberdeen. All on tarmac roads in the parks. Foot not great, just a slight discomfort the whole time

Short hilly run from Hebden Bridge to stretch the legs. Physio session was good and the foot felt better than morning

Tom's Cairn loop. Legs slightly better, could run normal speed. Foot stiff again but not unbearable, trying to get it stronger running on the soft uneven ground

Loop around the estate, foot less stiff. Glad to be seeing the physio tomorrow, hopefully get it sorted. Enjoying running on some small uphills and trying to run them well with good form, also the same for the morning run

Undulating run around Birse. Legs a lot better than yesterday but foot was stiffer. Breaking in some trail shoes so that's probably the reason. Will wear other shoes tomorrow. Walked up Scolty in the afternoon instead of another run. Nice to walk up a hill again

Easy jog from Finzean. Legs better than yesterday but still very painful. Able to run without hurting anything, just slow. Freezing cold, windy and snow showers, slushy snow on the ground in parts

Running, mostly off road 30:00 [2] 5.5 km (5:27 / km) +80m 5:05 / km

Another slow and painful jog to keep the legs moving. Hopefully tomorrow I feel like a runner again

Tried to jog and did 10 minutes without the pain getting any better. Could barely move, just agony!
