Scuba Diving 1:20:00 [3]

1st dive was 40min
2nd dive was 30 min

Wreck diving at Nanaimo. We tried to go to Saskatchewan but the site was too windy so we dove one near the bay, can't remember the name of the wreck. The water temp was 6 C and we wore two 8mm wetsuits and that kept me warm enough to stay down there for awhile. We saw lots of crabs, tiny shrimps, starfishes (they are back!), sea cucumbers, jellyfish, lingcod, and many kinds of fish that I don't know all the names.

WCT - Day 5 (last day)

Sunny day!! We visited Pachena lighthouse and had snack break at sea lion haul out rock. Sort of sad to finish the hike but so looking forward to take a shower. We were so glad that we didn't get any rain and had some beautiful views. Now I'm looking forward to Nootka trail next month!

WCT - Day 4

Foggy morning and clear afternoon. Mix of beaches and forest. We saw a dead whale near Orange Juice Creek. When we got to Darling River campsite we need to decide whether we wanted to hike another 4hrs to finish or camp here. My mom didn't want this hike end yet so we decided to camp. We had lots of time so we explored the area and walked to a nice waterfall. Another beautiful night so we sat on the beach and looked for whales and we saw four of them. It was such a treat to see whales passing by since my mom and I have never seen a whale in the wild.
