Oaklands orienteering sat league. Won by a mile- no mistakes at all and nicely planned. felt v good after

run up to frithsden

Orienteering 42:34 [3] 7.1 km (6:00 / km) +150m 5:25 / km

run on the Blue course at Frithsden at slightly less than race pace and no compass- got lost as Frithsden is very flat. had the forest to myself and found a weird cave.

wouldve come fourth- winner at 34 minutes.

running back home, took less time as it was mostly downhill and i took a slightly shorter route.

really pushed myself for a limit run- had a target of 18 minutes but overshot it considerably i feel. i felt slow. ( to Bs House from school)

got rid of the last energy with a run back home- intervals about 500m apiece up hills and such. very hot! i got through 6 of them over the run and my legs felt tired enough for me to be satisfied. long run tomorrow i feel

Screw up Street O- got all the controls but lack of a watch led to defeat at the hands of little brother. life couldnt get much worse. i blame the map

royally screwed up the relay- i just wasnt in tune with the forest, and after the first 2 mistakes i just broke tbh.

first mistake on 3 and then went way too far down for 4, confusing all the features for other ones. wrong valley for 5 and by then i was already hopeless. I need to get better at this terrain- its been too long.
