Shorter than planned as we’re heading away for the night and need to get sorted and away! Easy jog on grass and Trail. Mucky ground made legs feel heavy, but got there!

Trail run, uphill at the start and downhill at finish - undulating in between. Legs felt good, calf not 100%, but again not sore. Still rolling and stretching it. Seems to be improving

Trail run in Carnfunnock, could feel the calf a bit but I wouldn’t say that it’s sore.

Easy trailrun. Calves feeling ok. Long loop home. Legs feeling a bit lethargic

10 mins Steady before 6x 1 min on 1 min off (at 5k effort), 5 mins relaxed, 10 mins at 10k/tempo effort, 5 mins Steady then 6x 1 min on 1 min off. Ran as part of a club handicap event but focused on my session. Enjoyed this one. Calf was good until maybe the final few 1 min on/off sections. Seems to be a bit worse when run on flatter faster ground! Not painful really, manageable!

Easy run on roads with cushioned shoes on, just to see how calf is. Went well, but could just feel a dull ache

Long hilly run over varying terrain. Cut it at 2 hours as calf was still tender. I noticed it more running a bit quicker on flatter ground.
