Warm up jog, the some strides. Strides helped to sharpen my attitude a bit. Quite lethargic running until then!

Road Race race 35:58 [5] 6.22 mi (5:47 / mi) +112m 5:29 / mi

Held back a little in the first 1.5 miles, it was downhill and windy. Pushed on from there and began to build a gap on the chasers. Strong on hill sections and maintained a good pace on flatter sections. A few long straights into wind, but dropped the pace a bit and maintained the effort. Better run than last year. Felt confident and fit! Won by 32 secs.

10x 300 On Form surface with slight incline. Tired as I progressed through the reps, but enjoyed the fast feeling. Jog recovery.

The 2000,1600,800,400 turned into a 2000, 1600, 1000, 800, 400. For some reason I thought I had a 1k to do. The 5k paced sections were around 5.05-5.15 pace, but felt quite hard, but I understand that with some taper, that might feel easier.

The 2k was around 6.36 and the 1600m was 5.09, with the Recovery, I kinda lost timings after that. Mostly enjoyable session
