Runaround Sheffield.bit of an out and back to start, loads of road crossings!! Then found a couple of parks, with too many dogs. Anyway, felt fine, Easy effort.

Easy runaround town before airport. Slow on hills, but natural pace felt easy on the flats and downhill.

Hilly long trail run at Glenariff. Easy effort, though happy with overall pace considering route. 2 gels, 1 at 1 hr 2nd at 2hrs. Company for half. Legs felt tired at the end but strong throughout. Happy with this one.

3x 10 min Hill reps including recovery. First one a bit fast and tired at the end. Next 2 were better and felt confident. Quads tired at the end.

Easy run on grass. No watch, cushioned Nike trainers, went well. Slight discomfort in ankle, but I think I’m just very aware of it, looking for soreness! Running ok and no real change in style to protect it. Happy to try uphill reps. Time based roughly on car clock. Distance is 0.5 mile loops.

Long run, with hilly road climb into Carnfunnock trails. Slow start, but got moving. After 50 mins on uphill steep steps climb, I went over on my left ankle. It hurt, but I saw it as just a roll over on it, usually it improves. Today it lingered and was uncomfortable on impact, especially when extended on downhills. Ran on, then decided to go back to car. Felt it was better to stop than persevere in pain. Iced it this afternoon. Slight swelling but not too bad.
