Wicklow Way went ok yesterday, good run out and felt the energy plan went well. The shoes I wore, same as in Mourne way last June, caused big blisters on the arches of my feet and tore the skin away on one of them!! They’re in the bin now. That hampered me from about 15-25 miles then it was a bit numb from then and I just suffered a bit. decent long run done.

Working to 6 then had to get Adam as Jane working to 10pm. Got this run with some strides before I collected him. Bit rushed, but happy enough.

Easy effort run on undulating section of coastal road, with strides. Feeling good ahead of weekend.

1.25 into Carnfunnock, then 0.95 mile hilly Loops of the park. Then back to car. Felt ok, tired this morning but good to get a run and felt good after. 1 gel at 1hr. Nike shoes, dry conditions.

60 Long mins on the dreadmill, conditions outside were poor and wasn’t enthusiastic about the roads around the city. Run done!!
