Classic skiing 2:45:00 [2]

First official day of Nordic with the team! Skied decently fast for the first 50 minutes of practice and felt strong at the time. Worked a lot on Double poling technique which I felt helped me a great deal. Focused on that for the last hour of the ski. Arms started to fade a little bit and HR went up.

First official 8k ever. Was everything I expected it to be and more. Carleton course was fun but sort of difficult and I ended up having a little accident about 6k in. Body felt kind of drained before the race even started and I had a hard time pushing into anything much higher than ANT. Had a sweet pack of Scholastica running together from about 3-6k in the race.

Warming up/Cooling down for the Carleton Pre-regionals race. Felt pretty relaxed warming up and focused on running technique some. Also did 3x1 minute pickups which felt okay.

Easy running at the Race course today. Legs feel kind of heavy but shins didnt hurt at all.

Hour long run through the gaurdrail with a big group of runners and skiers. Shins were hurting some and legs felt tight.
