Classic skiing 36:00 [1]
ahr:132 max:163

Skied a little more after drills to continue working on technique. Went nice and easy because HR was elevated from the drills. Felt smooth in my double poling.

Skate skiing 29:00 [2]
ahr:133

Skiing up and down steep hill on Riley Rd. working on technique for skate. Did some gliding drills and some hopping drills. Felt like they helped a little bit.

Skate skiing 1:00:00 [2]
ahr:148 max:175

Went out and skied after drills on Riley Rd. Worked on skiing smoothly and powerfully. Was moving at a pretty fast clip, even though HR was a little higher than I wanted it to be. Felt strong though.

Running 22:00 [1]

WU for running/bounding intervals in Chester.

Bounding 27:00 [4]
ahr:163 max:194

3 laps around Chester with bounding on the uphills and easy running on the flats. Didn't really try for the first 2 because I didn't want to do intensity. Sped up a little on the last one.

Running 30:00 [1]

CD from running/bounding intervals.

Amazing afternoon ski in Afton. Felt so at home skiing around the area. Explored some new roads with nice pavement, saw cows that ran alongside the road with me and moo'd at me, saw 2 bike motorcycle gangs drive around town, saw elderly people playing bingo outside...made me feel very happy for my short visit at home. Striding felt fantastic and HR stayed in low-mid BE1 while doing it. Double poling felt good too. DId 6 sprints at stop ahead signs too.
