Cycling (Global warming) 1:50:00 [3]43.5 km (2:32 / km)
OK I'm sick of this. Every day I wake up, perfect weather except for the hail storm debris. Ride to work in perfect sunshine. Ride home in a river. They say Canberra is the new Lismore. 20 year ago Lismore had identical weather to Canberra now. Bermagui is the new Port Macquarie. Melbourne is the new Merimbula. Besides I had two flat tyres waited for lightning to stop under a bridge. Hard to pedal when bottom is under water. When where will they be crocodiles (already one found in Hawkesbury).
Ronning (Bella) 15:00 [3]3 km (5:00 / km)
Just a jog. Not just a dog. Legs are sore.

Sunday Feb 25

Cycling race (Tidbinbilla) 1:30:00 [5]50 km (1:48 / km) +200m 1:46 / km
Second time I've raced while still with an illegal blood alchohol reading. Last was a crit at Dairy Flat. This one a hilly road race out at Tidbinbilla post Tom/Em wedding with 4 hours sleep.
Stayed at the back for 15km catching up on some sleep. Neil Skipper attacked on a hill, I followed it up and we were down to four A graders left.
Started to work a bit harder on hills an in between, testing Rob?? and Gary Scheld out on the hills. We all looked to be about the same level. After several half breaks I decided to rst up and put it to them in the tracking station.
As planned I ramped it up on the first climb in the tracking station, Gary Scheld was first to crack. We regrouped again. At the dishes turn I was going to launch from the back, but two riders covered the center line on the road waiting. No surprises there.
We played cat and mouse all the way home. I grabbed Neil's wheel and stayed there. Thought I had 2nd place wrapped up. Maybe a lucky win. Rob?? launched 400m from the finish, Gary let him go. I just looked at Neil, it was either settle for 3rd (Gary was off the back) or drag Neil up there. I took up the chase leading Neil out. neil counter launched and grabbed Rob?? on the line.

Cycling (Western Bulldogs) 2:40:00 [3]58.5 km (2:44 / km)
Rode from Chisholm to work to the Bulldogs and back to Chisholm.
Aker was impressed with AceJases biking skills.

Monday Feb 19

Ronning (Bloob run) 42:00 [3]8 km (5:15 / km) +100m 4:56 / km
Yes end of an era. Beautiful, Bella and I joined the Nandies, Em, Jase and Pippa for a jog/dog socialising fest among the gum trees. Not as many red cards as I imagined.
All I can say is that Bella hasn't stopped drinking water since yesterdays effort and when she wasn't drinking she was horizontal on the carpet plush.
Farewell Cook. We will return as guests. Thanx for hosting us for six wonderful years.

Tuesday Feb 13

Ronning 5:00 [4]1.2 km (4:10 / km)
Jogged a lap of the Stromlo Crit circuit. Felt quite good until the 300m mark, then hit the wall.

Sunday Feb 11

Ronning 41:00 [3]7 km (5:51 / km) +75m 5:34 / km
Monday blob on Sunday run with beautiful on the Jase concrete path loop. What magnificent improvements to the old course with replica of Sydney Harbour bridge and six lane single track. At least the Aranda playing fields is still there. After a slow start the smell of fresh rain on eucalypt got us going. Stopped off in jammo for a 2 litre pepsi max.

Ronning intervals 30:00 [5]6 km (5:00 / km) +30m 4:53 / km
Went out for a jog with Bella and beautiful in the Fadden pines.
Bella ears pricked looking for christmas Ted's in the bushes (aka kangaroos...Christmas Ted is a former loved teddy bear with Christmas decal. There are two games played with Christmas Ted. 1. Tug-o-war 2. Chasies -- Bella's favourite trick is to sneak up behind me and push the Christmas ted against my leg then run away. Ha ha ha I have the Christmas Ted!! Hopefully Bella never catches a Fadden pines Christmas ted). The other thing Bella loves is tennis balls. Needless to say there is a tennis court across the road. Last night Bella went chasing Pat Cash, John McEnroe and Margaret Court as they whacked balls to each other. It was five minutes before the umpire eventually evicted Bella from the court.
Back to training. There was a 30 minute run in the pines. I did one 3 minute interval, all down hill with the wind behind, Bella along side and beautiful not far behind. I think I need to step it up to two intervals at some point.
