FKT attempt on Hills to Sea Trail. Felt good until I didn't. Trail was poorly maintained in places, which made it slower going, and I feel like the elevation estimate of 5,000 ft. of gain recorded by Strava was way low. Still, I think I could have gone under 11:25 if I hadn't been so affected by the heat.

Overall, not the most beautiful trail in Maine, but every section had its charm, and overall, it was an enjoyable run, minus all the barfing.

Packraft attempt on the Upper Royal. Very low water levels, lots of strainers blocking the "river" (more like a small stream) and a dead deer floating at mile 2 made us rethink our decision and bail out.
