These were difficult today! Initially contemplated doing all 10 with just the jog recoveries, but my quality was being jeopardized so had a 60sec rest after the 5th rep
With Áine--which really pushes me, as SHE IS SO FAST.

Note

Sports massage with Sarah--she really worked on my calves and the muscles around my shins, with a little other work on the rest of my legs. So painful, but SO needed.

Unfortunately, I had planned my run for just after weights (and the massage), but she instructed me to not run, as she had really aggravated the muscles. Really annoying, but I followed her instructions. :/

Shins were bothering me again today while just walking around.

Shin hurt a tad during the warm up. But hasn't hurt post-race...which is AWESOME! :)

Parkrun this morning with Áine. My legs were. so. dead. Really struggled around this today both physically (getting my legs to move) and mentally. Not pleased with the time, but it is a good baseline to work from. Forgot my barcode in my bag--so it won't be recorded online--but I think I was runner 93? I will be attempting to race at the weekends throughout exams and until I leave, so I have plenty of time to get down around the 20s! And the whole summer to go sub-20! :)

Left shin hurt when walking around this morning, going to ice them and give them a rest, but may run in the evening. Entire body is still super sore from weights--its kind of awesome. :D
