Gungahlin parkrun for the first tim because the rest of the Canberra crew that is trialling were going to that one. Not the best conditions, it was very windy and none of us did as good a time as we were hoping I don't think. Super happy though to go under 20 again and get my fastest time of the year ;) Started wayyyyy to fast trying to keep up with Shannon, but then couldn't keep up after 2k, and slowed significantly though kept her in sight the whole time. So not exactly the run I was hoping for considering I got slower every k, but I'm sure ill pick it up again soon!

Training w Des at the track. did 2 easy 200s to warm up, then 2x4x400s at "3k pace" but actually much faster (I was generally around the 80sec mark) on a 2:15 cycle - just me and the boys in that group so I went way to hard and was really hurting by the end, plus didn't have very consistent times in the second set so that wasn't to good but at least I got in some hard running! then finished with a 1k threshold (I did 3:55 though des told me to do 4:20...)

O on a new mapped bit of lake Ginninderra. Was still lots of running but good to be somewhere new (sort of). Was going super well and might have even beat zoe but stuffed up two controls near the end.
