O training on Akselas. Another really nice map, but a bit more difficult than what I did so didn't have the same kinda pace. Ended up a bit to the right of the first two controls, so slowed down from there and never got the speed back up again, esp since there were many more cliffs and marshes to cross this time. Was ok after that until the second last control in a big flat section where I was off to the right again...maybe something to think about

Lonely ints in the park. Did the same session as the group did on Tuesday which I didn't make it back in time for. So 3x4mins (2mins), 3x2mins (1min), then 4x30sec (30sec) - though the group did 6x30sec. had to have an extra minute after the last 4 and 2 as well bc I was struggling quite a lot. Was hard to do these alone, and a bit depressing to see my pace, but given its an undulating loop and my lack of intervals in the past two months I couldn't have expected much more, especially doing them alone. Proud just to have got through the session really, but got a lot of work to do to get my speed and fitness back!

Club night at Hoias, was really just there to be social ;) Wasn't up for any orienteering straight after intervals so went for a nice lil jog on the trails with lizzie. She said it would be half an hour, and it was on the dot

Really nice o training at Guttestrod. Decided on some cuts to pretty much only stay in the nice bit as I though it would take me ages, but I was moving so well in the forest so was much faster than I thought I would be and finished wishing I did a couple of extra controls!

Nice long run along the coastal path towards bangor, then up a nice bike path up st marys hill and back through city center of bangor. Really nice trails and managed to find a break in the days rain.
