Sunday Aug 19

Running race 2:28:00 [5]11.0 mi (13:27 / mi) +1040m 6:28 / km
shoes: Walsh PB Ultra
Not a great performance at the Lomonds of Fife - although I'll see later what the time was compared to the winners. Felt really tired after around an hour out. Shoes were terrible - the Walsh's were a bad buy - far too wide a fitting with the foot moving around too much - also not much feeling of suspension compared to the New Balance.

Good course and weather was kind.

Saturday Aug 18

Orienteering 47:59 [3]4.7 km (10:13 / km) +200m 8:25 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Mudroc 290
CATI event but with a long training course - good idea - ran well and 2 mistakes although very easy on such familiar territory

Wednesday Aug 15

Running 39:00 [5]4.88 mi (7:59 / mi) +150m 4:32 / km
ahr:160 max:176 shoes: Walsh PB Ultra
Fast run around the top of crags. Good form keeping pace pretty fast throughout. A few stops on the climb.

Monday Aug 13

Running hills 1:13:00 [4]7.68 mi (9:29 / mi) +300m 5:16 / km
ahr:154 max:170 shoes: Asics Gel Mojave
Run from home to the 6 peaks of Holyrood park. Not great form but this is a pretty tough circuit. Shoes not good on the wet grass.
Picked up a little at the end.
