Tour of Tweeddale ; aim was to push hard on each of the sections between cake stops which I did pretty well. Pleased with the time coming very close to f 3 hrs for the very close to 50 mile distance. Average speed was 16 miles/hr which was pretty pleasing. Finished in a reasonable state of repair.

Struggled a bit today and found an excuse to stop after the biceps track. Aim to complete last 2 tracks tomorrow morning together with an abs session.

Run from home to Blackford Hill, around Hermitage area and back home via KB. Easy pace but reasonably challenging in the heat. First 1 hour run since 2015 - generally OK but feeling that joints were takings something of a beating. Will have 1 week without any running so good recovery time.

Spin Session using Les Mills at Pure Gym. Pretty full on hitting good high heart rate and struggling to keep to the end of a few tracks.

Monday Aug 21, 2017 #

Swim 44:04 [4] 1.1 km (40:04 / km)

Interval Session; 100m warm up; 3 x 100 m front crawl - terrible; totally exhausting and really slow; lots of splash but not much movement; 6 x 100 m breast ; 3 intervals at 2 min 35 the rest a bit slower; 100 m cool down.

Pretty tiring session.
