Running 1:57:44 [4] 11.65 mi (10:06 / mi) +265m 9:26 / mi
ahr:148 shoes: Hoka SpeedGoat 2

Scurry to the Sea - nice race - legs felt slightly heavy today but managed to keep running the whole way - aim was to keep HR in zone below 160 bpm which I generally did. Nice event worth repeating.

Cycling 30:18 [4] 4.51 mi (6:43 / mi) +180m 5:59 / mi
ahr:120 max:155 shoes: Scott Scale

Ride Back to Hilllend to collect car

Body Balance 79 - 8th time completed - got through it all although not feeling fab.

Thursday Jul 25 #

Cycling 30:00 [2]
ahr:110 max:145 shoes: KickR

Cash Register @80% - after fairly tough O last night and still with DOMS from Body Pump on Monday decide to switch from BP to a short active recovery session - a good idea I think

Orienteering race 34:00 [4] 3.37 mi (10:05 / mi) +55m 9:36 / mi
ahr:150 shoes: Hoka Arahi 2 - Blue

Urban Orienteering at Liberton - Long Course - Fabulous - complex wee area. Pretty accurate navigation. Legs a bit heavy but maintained a decent steady pace.

Cycling 22:00 [2] 4.0 mi (5:30 / mi) +40m 5:20 / mi
shoes: Scott Scale

Easy cycle too and from Orienteering in Liberton.

Running 35:00 [5] 2.84 mi (12:19 / mi)
ahr:123 max:171 shoes: Hoka Arahi 2 - Size 8 - Black

An attempt at 3 x 1 km at around 7 min mile pace. Legs were stiff post BP - it was too hot and was probably a bit soon after lunch as felt I had a stitch. S- - total fail - just about made the first interval - crashed out on the second and the Garmin didn't even ask me to do a third for some reason.

Boby Pump 1:00:00 [4]
ahr:112 max:154

First Time on BP #104 - felt pretty good today and made a pretty full effort ; generally did will but back weights at 5 kg felt very heavy so really gone quite far backwards on this one.

Running 30:00 [3] 2.89 mi (10:23 / mi)
ahr:138 max:147 shoes: Hoka Arahi 2 - Size 8 - Black

Easy run around the Meadows targetting 140 bpm heart rate. Felt pretty stiff but generally fine.

Bodybalance 16:00 [1]

Deep Stretch 1
