Philiphaugh Hill Race - in the rain through paths that were streams - fabulous ! Started a bit slow - just 3 days after munro I think I was still a bit fatigued with some tight muscles - R ankle is a little tender and I should probably have taken it easier this week (ie not done the munro) as there was a bit of soreness during the previous weekend race. Wimped out a bit on some the modest climbs on the way out and dropped to walking pace. A bit of second wind - runners high in the last 20 mins and pushed hard on the mainly downhill but with some short climbs. Time not great but the underfoot conditions will have played a part as well as the weariness from the munro climb.
Advise no running for 2 weeks to let the ankle recover properly.
