Thursday Jun 21

Running hills (Stinging cockatoos) 1:00:00 [5] 9.5 km (6:19 / km) +220m 5:40 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6
tough session with NSW Stinger, peterprong and Mace. Very cold evening and i was only one call from piking. Of course, we were pushed out by the person with the most guts. Mace.

Heaps of effort and a bit of pain. Did the long hill in Lindfield, of which i took a short version of.

Wednesday Jun 20

Running tempo (Belrose Loop) 43:05 [4] 8.3 km (5:11 / km) +50m 5:02 / km
weight:105kg shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6
went with another coworker, who despite havent been running for 2 weeks, smoking and drinking still kicked my ass for like almost 2 minutes. It was heaps faster than usual and i was buggered. I also feel the onset of a cold.

There is though a slight difference between us, he is 78kg. i need to loose some serious kg.

pedometer route

Tuesday Jun 19

Gym 45:00 [3]
25 minutes in the bike at 125bpm heartrate and 20 minutes in the trendmill at 6min/k

Sunday Jun 17

Running 41:36 [3] 6.44 km (6:28 / km) +75m 6:06 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6
was cold and feeling fat so i went for a jog. It was most pleasant and while i am still warm i will crawl into bed. Google pedometer route

It also helped me clear out this arvo's frustrations with the VOTF thing and focus on the positives. We still have 3 weeks to sort out the quirks and have a spotless presentation in JWOC.

Wednesday Jun 13

Gym 50:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline
25 minutes bike, 20 minutes rowing machine and 5 minutes running in the treadmill. Some spicy lentil soup and toast afterwards mmmm...

Tuesday Jun 12

Running (Sydney park loop) 46:34 [3] 7.5 km (6:13 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6
went for a jog, and i was really slow and stiff (due to the lack of physical activity). A most challenging effort to psyche myself up. i am very tired (worked all weekend), i was hungry and when i got home, Phoebe had some lebanese bread, babaganouge dip and James Squire amber ales in the fridge. But i did change my clothes and went out.

For the first time ever my ITB hurt so much i had to stop and stretch it. felt ok after that
Gym (stretch and conditioning) 7:31 [2]
i had a thorough stretch after my run in the hope the leg pains dont become an injury. we'll see tomorrow.

Saturday Jun 9

Gym 50:00 [3]
bit of bike, bit of elliptical. watched this show called cops, but muted with subtitles, it was hilarious
"this seriously deranged driver didnt even know he was infringing the law, luckily the police could help him by swirving him off the road..."

Tuesday Jun 5

Orienteering intervals (Stingers Training) 56:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6
At Commonwealth Park with FatRat, NSW Stinger, Andyhill, mace and Phoebe, prong was impressive (at piking due to heavy traffic...appaling). Newcomer mace set a course using the sprint, and was not affraid to innovate with the format, having a quick jog from the end of an interval to the start of the next (them not being in the same spot). I had no food in me and no training for days so i was stuffed. Phoebe, steady as usual, and mace, she was flying and keeping up with the semiretired elites.

Friday Jun 1

Running tempo (Belrose Loop) 42:00 [1] 6.2 km (6:46 / km) +60m 6:28 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6
short plod around work, with a coworker that aspires run the city2surf this year. (he walked the last 3)
