Running (Stingers Training) 30:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6
got delayed picking up my bike so i arrived too late for anyting. Started jogging around the place when i realised they must have been in the head itself. I headed down there and ran into Robbie and Ezy in their second last loop. Tried to keep up and got dropped prolly after 30 seconds....so hot!

Monday Oct 29

Running (Skillion Loop) 51:09 [4]8.2 km (6:14 / km) +75m 5:58 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 7
Bloody hard to run today, it was hot and dry and i was feeling pretty tired and heavy legs. Nice day and views on the beach and stuff but i struggled the whole way. 23:58 to the top of the skillion and 27:10 back.

Running 22:01 [3]

i tried to go out in the hope it would make me feel better but i really got nothing in my legs. Proper rest is the only way to go i think.

Friday Oct 19

Note
i have been on my feet for 12 hours last 5 days, so no training.

Sunday Oct 14

Running (Seaforth Oval Loop) 50:12 [3]
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6
Cruisy jog down to Seaforth Oval and back. Maintained a strong pace going to the dead engine, and i think i hit PB there 17:59, not without a respectable stitch to my side. After that eased off and made the oval in 5:39. Back 5:41 and from them up the hill in 20:47. Buggered in the end but straight into the pool enhanced todays "runners high".

Saturday Oct 13

Running long (Dee Why Beach loop) 1:14:13 [3]
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 7
Road Run all the way down from my place to Dee Why beach and back home. I took it all very slow but at the beggining i was really tired, couldnt get my heart going. On the way back was hard but i was feeling better (probably legs woke up and stuff). Left ITB a bit sore near the end.

As soon as i came back. jumped into the pool and then had some thick raisin toast with a flat white. Giggidy giggidy.

Wednesday Oct 10

Running race (Sydney Summer Series) 47:50 [3]*
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6
Cracker start of the Season in iconing Sydney Harbour. The race was on the Luna Park map, which encompasses most of Kirribili. I ran ok for most of the race but with crap route choices i ended up late and only 290 points. :(.

Fish and Chips with Ezy and andyhill made it all good.

Running tempo (LFRC) 41:51 [3]
weight:102kg shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 7
On the lower end of a tempo run with Ezy. I felt ok but now i am flat as a tack. Sausages and veggies for dinner was a treat.

Sunday Oct 7

Orienteering race (Oceania Relay) 38:47 [3]4.04 km (9:36 / km) +150m 8:06 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline
Beautiful day at the area where last sunday's race was. I got in a mixed team with Paul Marsh and Matt...something. I had quite an ok run, considering i broke the 10min/k pace!. I managed to run (as in not walk) the whole race and only made 5 minutes all up in mistakes. I was a bit sloppy and pushed around by the terrain at the beginning but being nice and flat it was better later.

Just when my orienteering is improving, the season ended!

Event: Yellow Sub POP Party

Orienteering race (Oceania Long Distance) 1:22:35 [3]5.3 km (15:35 / km) +225m 12:51 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline
Brand new map "out the back" (by 30k or so) of Honeysuckle creek, had a shocker, 2 x 10 min mistakes, at least, like back in the old days where i didnt have a clue where i was for a long while. Also feel like getting a cold.

Better luck tomorrow!

Friday Oct 5

Note
after a stressful week, a sauna to relax is due

Orienteering race (Oceania Middle Distance) 1:00:26 [3]**** 3.8 km (15:54 / km) +140m 13:26 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline
Middle distance Champs. I just went for a run with no expectations as my mood has been crap this weekend. Made a couple of mistakes, some of them quite big, as i wasn't being careful with where i was going.

I know this already, i should be making other mistakes now, new mistakes. Lets just hope that i can tackle my future races with all this in my head so i can make new mistakes...and learn from them.
