Squats / Deadlift with the barbell for the first time

4 sets @ 50% bodyweight

I feel like loading it this way might help after avoiding for a long time...if its a bit of aggravation this might be the bit of push it needs. Thats my kind of logic anyway and every injury I have had in the past has reacted well to loading it.

Easy trail - same as yesterday, never got worse but never disappeared either.

less thumbing today and no issues after.

Easy trail but no watch on so guessing distance / elevation although its a regular route and I was conservative

Its an irritant right now, the odd thumb in the arse helps

50' Easy + Strideouts

Definitely feels a little different on the road compared to trails. felt OK but aware the whole run.

Did 4 x strideouts at about 50% effort, first ones in a while and increased discomfort but only while I did them.

An MMA fighter I know has given me a Theragun - its pretty accurate at getting to the pain so have been using that the last few evenings too although I have to be careful the thing doesn't slip while I am lying face down!

Easy - small amount of discomfort at the start and kind of stayed that way until the last 5 minutes. A bit of aggravation by the end....so yeah not clear yet but better than this time last week.

DOMS kicked in a little getting moving and was a bit ion a shuffle at first but actually couldn't feel the injury at all...its either a good sign or my glute isn't working at all now.

Bit if tenderness in the hamstrings if anything but nothing unusual given Saturdays run.
