Was meant to be 3 hrs but I had changed the days around a bit this weekend to suit better and did a bit extra yesterday

Probably took me about 30 minutes to warm in to the run, just a bit bruised from hitting the deck the day before but nothing serious.

Shoulder was stiff and my hip has taken a bashing but felt better as the run went on but did start to stiffen slightly from 2hrs so headed home.

I did feel some fatigue today and kept it easier due to the fall.

felt good from the start , only real issue was that it wasn't very enjoyable today... rained the whole time , just enough that you should have a waterproof on but then that would make me to warm for the effort so opted to just be wet through the whole time instead.

Moving well , can't remember even noticing the glute (I hardly do now) until around 2hrs in on the last downhill through the forest to home I hit a rock on the MTB trail and went flying over some wet slab.

I did a quick stock check... nothing too serious but a gash on my elbow, shoulder graze and my left hip took a bashing.

If it had happened anytime earlier I would have still gone home probably too be sure so glad it was then.

There is a lump on the elbow and hip a little stiff but just bruised, glute feels OK.

Easy trails + strides

Stayed in the forest to try and avoid the wind / rain a bit and was able to keep it easy on lower ground - all felt very comfortable and strides were good, did them on a flat piece of trail around an hour in to the run

Back squats, good mornings , hip thrusts and core.

Did the KB core movements tonight, only problem I have is not much room in the garage for much carrying.

Easy + hill sprints.

Hill sprints were good and responsive on the dry road today and could really focus on the drive and technique - felt strong on them but yet to feel very elastic. :)

Moderate run - forest trails

These moderate trail runs really feel easy if anything now, think what I mean is easy to keep the same moderate effort over the time and although I don't monitor the pace too much it comes out roughly the same - I don't need to push a bit harder at all to keep it later on.

I can also judge the 2hrs within a few minutes from anywhere in the forest from half way which is a useless skill but shows I have been consistent for a bit I guess

Moderate + Strides

Wind was swirling so never really for or against me just more of an annoyance but the strides were sheltered and felt good enough ....

Slightly downhill though, you wouldn't notice until you turn to run back but good for leg turnover etc
