Easy isn with some friends - was meant to be three hours but I had to meet them late Wilder hadn't been too well in the morning and took a while longer to get out

Nice to meet up with them though I guess and had a coffee afterwards with them rather than run on my own

3 long hill reps - session moved

Had more time as moved to the weekend so drove to a new hill which has the option of being 10 -20 minutes in total

Warmer than it has been plus the hill starts at 20% so instantly I felt sluggish on the first one but got going half way through when it drops to about 8-10% consistently.

First one was about 12 mins to a plateau then the next two I pushed on each time , just felt good and nice weather.

Took it very easy getting back to the car.

I was surprised at the elevation on the session once I got back which I hadn't checked ...just went on time / effort.

Easy + strides

Went up the hill as weather is good and know wind but does mean not much option for strides - did them on a grass verge covered in sheep shit and slightly uphill but felt good.

I was meant to have 4hrs on Friday but I need to take the kids to the dentist in the morning (didn't check the calendar) but today I could get out easily.

2000m in 4 hours isn't actually that easy to find so I was just going to go up Snowdon again x 2 but on the way something changed my mind and I figured I would so some Paddy Buckley route

The Capel Curig to Croesor leg is the one I know the least and have only been the other side of Siabod once and that was in flag.

It was nice and clear so went for a look but was a bit of a compromise on elevation and time annoyingly.

I hiked with the poles at any opportunity which meant it wasn't quick at all but thought it better than running up the long climbs just because I could.

Anyway I am running with friends on Saturday for a few hours too - won't be hard so will make up for lost time there.

Although only 3hr 15 I did fuel properly from the start and all good there.

I have been skipping lately as ran out of gels but Mountain Fuel sent me a bunch more.

Feel better over this ground again already when keeping it easy - didn't feel like much effort at all to be honest.

Easy + hill sprains

The MTB trails are open again which means less options in the forest and it suddenly feels a bit boring - I mean it has been a bit relentless I guess on the same routes.

Very easy run + strides

Felt good on this , took a few minutes longer to feel smooth after yesterdays flat run plus age I think but didn't wear my watch and knew the turn around point for 10km. Recorded on phone.

Strides good too, took the first two cautiously if honest....wary of the glute but it didn't crop up at all so all good
