Walk 1k then jog 1k, repeat to the end, to test all the bits that have something wrong with them (sigh). All seemed as expected, not too bad. HR up a bit considering effort level. Lovely out & I really enjoyed getting some fresh air.

Head cold a lot better. Doing various jumps in the HIIT session tells me my ankle is not better. Am rethinking Wisley O event tomorrow. Some level ground jolking is probably more sensible.

Hopefully overnight was the worst of the head cold as I only had a few hours sleep, sitting upright so I could breathe. Definitely started feeling improved this afternoon, so stepped my effort up spinning & worked up a good sweat. I'm going stir crazy stuck inside all day though.

Had quite the hangover after a day of festivities for my birthday yesterday, so finally headed outside for some fresh air and didn't feel too bad. I tested knees and ankle with a spot of jogging on flat bits of road, no more pain than I was expecting. Still quite a bit of swelling in my right ankle on the inside ankle bone, but didn't seem to restrict movement. Time was 50:33.
