Learned at 8:30am that we had to go to Manchester today, so added a side trip to Cannock Chase Walton Chasers event on the way. Arrived 2mins before EOD ended at 12 (comment was, "you just made it, with your car arriving in the carpark sideways". Hmmmm). Lovely sunny day, bitterly cold wind tho. Start official warned us that a control had been stolen, so we didn't have to visit that site. Turns out 2 controls had been stolen, and 5 more controls were in the wrong place by up to 100m bc the Printer had used the wrong file after the remap. Bit hard to void 14 legs so results were left as is. Dave & I each lost about 15mins bc of it. I found the waist high heather tough going in the open areas, and much of the forest was shin high brambles - pretty much had to just divert to the tracks to move fast. Hopefully JK areas aren't like that (& the organisers get it right!).

I have picked up yet another cold too, razor blades throat last night/today and really struggled running as HR was high.

Felt crap and got slower with each km. Also still really sore from Monday's strength which is weird bc its the same session I've done recently without much soreness at all.

Woo-hoo, I feel a load better today. Just woke feeling different, less tired. And stom seems fine too. Needless to say, was able to push quite a lot of resistance spinning. Stuck to the hour even though I felt OK to do more.

Straight out for a walk post spin. Really wanted to run, but not taking any chances. The wind was bloody cold, but the sun on my skin was nice & warm when it was there.

Congestion gone, stomach is back. Time to see the GP I think. Had intended the walk to be a warm up for a run or other session, but stomach issue put stop to that. Also I'm really sore today from strength yesterday even though it was a lolly session.

Looked dry with sun trying to break through when I left, but within 10mins rain had set in along with a nasty cold wind. Nice to get out though. Stomach seems to have settled overnight, however I still feel achy and congestion has increased.
