Cycling (Mallorca) 5:00:00 [3] 110.0 km (2:44 / km) +2900m 2:25 / km

Costitx to Coll de Soller (really enjoyable easy switchback climb) then Puig Major (it was relentless, I hung in there well til the last 10mins), back via Inca. Loved it today, felt strong, cold isn't getting worse, & a lot less windy.

Costitx to Arta via Can Picafort & back. Much better today, less crowded & not as severe winds. Felt ok & head cold no worse.

Costitx to Sa Calobra return. Hated it as terrifyingly windy & crowded roads. Felt crap too, seem to have woken with a head cold this morning.

First ever ParkRun so did a manageable pace so I could have a beatable time on the board :-) Really enjoyed it - great grassy course with a good mix of flat, gentle down & up (the grass was unsurprisingly sloppy mud today, yay for the Speedcross shoes which have fantastic mud grip!). Dave ran with me, said I sounded like I was breathing through a straw. Forgot to use my puffer. Right calf twinged on the first lap during the uphill bit (also the only part of the course with a headwind), so I had to adjust my pace to manage that, which worked, the pain went after 5mins or so. Looking forward to doing ParkRun again!

No surprise, had a migraine today, so thumping head, light/sound sensitivity & nausea. Pushed myself too much this week obviously :-(

Orienteering (Micheldever Forest) 1:17:04 [4] *** 10.2 km (7:33 / km) +50m 7:22 / km

Training on the Brown course from an event on Micheldever Forest in 2013. Fantastic area - great for straight line compasswork & control flow.

Legs were heavy like lead. I need a rest.
