In Hokas, and generally a bit cautious, I remember this area as being covered in brambles last time and it was the same again today. Too far R out of #1 to get to the big path through OOB. "Ride" to #4 overgrown. Wrong way round the enclosure for #5. Unmapped green near #8. Fresh unmapped planting in the supposedly runnable open on the way to #9. Ditherey approach to #10, not the best line, should've handrailed the earth bank to the E, not the W, and distracted by catching another runner here. Set off up the wrong boggy bit for #11, banana route. Roundabout run for #12, got caught up in brambles. Found the wrong pit (of two) for #14.

4th/16, but +6min off the top three, (Fastest 40:18)

Had a quick chat to Jan afterwards, he found the mapping a bit odd in places too, and lost the path from #2 to #3. It was there, I followed it, but it was more indistinct than mapped and covered in windblown branches etc.
