Saturday Jun 3

Running - road or flat race 51:45 [5] 6.2 mi (8:20 / mi) +170m 4:47 / km
Jackson 10K, the toughest in New England. Raining and 55F - good conditions. 2:12 faster than last year bodes well for Mt Washington. Splits 9:31, 9:37, 8:01, 7:22, 8:04, 7:26, 1:42. Took the uphills easier so could run faster on flats and downhills than last year.
Running - road or flat warm up/down 20:00 [2]
Biking 35:00 [2] 7.0 mi (4:59 / mi)
Biked home from race in steady rain. Thoroughly soaked.

Friday Jun 2

Walk/Hiking/Snowshoe 1:04:00 [1] 4.0 mi (16:00 / mi)
To Cranmore and back with Suzanne.
Tennis 25:00 [1]
Backboard workout. Nice new way to get some quickness training and stay loose.

Thursday Jun 1

Running - road or flat 35:00 [2] 3.2 mi (10:56 / mi)
Around the block. An easy day.

Wednesday May 31

Running - hilly or rough 1:08:30 [3] 6.0 mi (11:25 / mi) +340m 6:02 / km
Hurricane Mtn Rd to top and return. Hot day. Felt good. Splits at gate: 14:15, 23:03; 16:55; 14:19. gate to top is 11.3%, 925 ft in 1.55 mi, so pace up the hill was just under 15 min/mile.

Tuesday May 30

Weights/stretching 55:00 [2]
Stretch and Tone class.
Biking 20:00 [1] 4.0 mi (4:59 / mi)
Biked to dentist and back.

Monday May 29

Running - hilly or rough 2:56:00 [3] 7.7 mi (22:51 / mi) +775m 10:49 / km
max:150
Mountain trail run - from Highland Center in Crawford Notch around Saco Lake, up Webster-Jackson Tr to Mt Webster, along ridge to Mt. Jackson, and down Webster-Jackson Tr. Pretty wet and SSC 0.95 (some pitches to 2.0) so pretty slow going. Felt good though downhill legs getting tired at end. All except the ridgeline was redline. My first run up a 4000-footer in 8 years (and a N.E. 100-highest too). Nice day for it.

Sunday May 28

Walk/Hiking/Snowshoe warm up/down 2:30:00 [1] 5.0 mi (29:59 / mi) +400m 14:56 / km
Up Kelly Trail (redline) and down Old Mast Rd with Suzanne. Super day.
