E (running) 21:00 [1] 0.5 km (42:00 / km)
shoes: Hoka Challenger ATR

E warmup cooldown at the Gale Devers Track, the famous alum of Sweetwater HS in San Diego burbs, nice eight lane rubberized track with astroturf infield.

R (running) 57:00 [3] 6.4 km (8:54 / km)
shoes: Hoka Challenger ATR

Billy and I alternated reps; he had a 3x (400, 200, 400) workout and I did a 16x200 R workout. . . full 2R rest

16x200m: 46, 47, 44, 44, 42, 44, 43, 43, 43, 43, 43, 42, 44, 43, 43, 40

felt good, just tedious doing so many reps. right achilles still tight. still too heavy but have to wait till get home to work on that, food just too good out here to pass up.

billy's 400m were in the range of 62-67, 200m around 30-33 sec, so he was cooking. good to see the boy "do good", nice stride. encouraged me by saying some of the JV team runs their 200m at my time, hah, that is not a compliment to the JV squad!

two more schools to visit Mon and Tue, more meet the coaches. he also has an opportunity to observe a practice Tue
