woke up with head cold Billy brought back from Chicago, argh, but still gonna try to race at the velodrome tonight, can't miss opening night of the new track. I want to be a part of history.

inaugural Penrose Park velodrome race . . . C race . . . five lap scratch, miss-n-out, and 12 lap tempo . . . some high intensity; achieved my goal: "no crashes" . . . no crashes on the entire night, everyone certified and trained on the track. about 60 racers, off to a good start. all we need is a new nickname, no my "Mr. BumpyFace".
