missed first bus so walked a couple stops ahead to get warm and wait for next bus. perfect example of a morning I DON'T want to commute by bicycle. waaaay to icy out there. temps not a problem, but the patches of ice are too dangerous.

Commutio! Winter has come! But from 20 years of bicycle commuting in St Louis, I have my clothing dialed in, and on Billy's Kona Major Jake which is a great rain bike, fenders, disk brakes are great in the rain. I usually hate disk brakes but in the rain they are nice for a big heavy rider. Regular caliper brakes barely slow me down.
