I've never competed round Yeadon before and know little more of it than the main street, so it was great to have the challenge of a new area. I completed all of the first map and was back in time to do one on the second map, but others were faster than me I think. I was pleased with my route choices through all the various snickets etc,

Night Score at Danefield. Beautifully snowy night in the woods, which looked magical under lamp light. I really enjoyed the run tonight and nailed most of the controls. The snow was several inches deep in places, which did make navigation more challenging as many of the paths were obscured.
We had a much larger turnout than usual as this event was run in memory of Tom Chesters and Rachel Majumdar, Airienteers who tragically were killed in Glencoe at the weekend. David gave a short eulogy and we had a minute's silence before we began.

Night score event around Holt Park Streets. Fun, but really pretty cold, around -2 and some slippy paths. It's a real rabbit warren in places which made good map contact essential.
