Headingley Streets Night Score event, based on a 1:15000 map with 39 post boxes as controls. Map went from West Park at one end to Kirkstall Road around Yorkshire TV at the other. Needless to say, no-one got all the controls, I think 24 was the highest. Good fun this one - the obvious choice would have been down into south Headingley, round the Harold's etc., but as I used to live down here, I felt would have given me unfair advantage seeing as I know which back-to-back streets are through and which are dead ends (no detail like that on the map...) So I did a loop up to Beckett Park and back round Queenswood Drive and down to Cardigan Road, back up through Brudenell Road, Ash Road etc. I got 14 in all. The post-race soup and bread was a nice touch!
