Lovely Saturday morning run from Hostel in Hawes, over the fields to Sedbusk then along the ridge to Hardraw and back on the pennine way. The mist was low in the valley, but once I was higher up above the mist, I could see the hills on the other side of the dale. Not too much wildlife about, apart from a few rabbits and dippers in the river.

Main reason for the run was to reccy the route for a walk later on that morning with the kids and families from Kids Church. There had been loads of rain there in the week and some of the fields were completely flooded, but there was enough of a path to make the walk possible (although it took 3 times longer than when I ran it..)

Fun night score event at roundhay park, organised by Martyn Broadest. There were 18 mapped controls, worth 10, 20 or 30 points, on four of which were snippets of maps showing another bonus control worth 50 points. This made route planning somewhat difficult as it was unknown which controls had the map snippets on. I made a reasonable attempt, getting most of the mapped and two bonus controls.
