Orienteering race (SQE) 34:24 [5] **** 4.8 km (7:10 / km)

WSOC selection race.
Was wanting a clean run and to not make any mistakes. Managed to do that with only a couple of time losses where running round the path was the long but safer route.
Came 1st so hopefully through to Sicily!

Wcoc night O at Keltontop Fell.
Focussing on compass bearings, trying to keep torch low so that i had to really focus on compass. Was good training and enjoyed the course.

Easy run, after yesterday just around the streets. Was cut a bit short as had school stuff to do but was alright. Felt good.

Trying out a bit of yoga stretching. Was good fun and was nice to do something extra whilst still stretching. Worked quite well.

Fartlek session.
Easy jog for about 10 minutes to start with to get warmed up then onto harder stuff. Hard efforts were between 600 and 900 metres. Was just around Cockermouth so finding long stretches of road was a bit hard but managed to fit in about 5 during the run so was a good session.

Group run with Al, Dan, Sunley and Louis. Was good fun and nice to be able to talk to people whilst running. Felt fine and we were keeping a good pace

Group run at the squad training. Wasn't sure what i would feel like running in the morning but managed fine and wasn't very tired. Good fun but with a lot of stop and starts because of the gates and fields. Enjoyed the bit of off road and legs were feeling fine
