Scottish 6 days- day 1 - Glen Tanar
Legs had nothing in them because of the week before, seemed to be a bit off for every control and kept getting dragged off line by other people distracting me. #7 took me ages because I was moving so slowly across the first bit of slope then basically wandering through the bracken when I was nearly there. Started looking for 8 early so was dragged by a lot of other controls so I was too far right when I got to the right distance.
Just missed 9 too and had to come back up again

Alvie long race. Hit pretty much every control good but didn't see a patch of green before #2 so took a bit longer because I was expecting to see it but instead I saw green, just lost 15 secs though. Bad route choice to #6. Should've just gone straight but I saw what looked like an easy route along the slope but I still had to climb at the end so it was pointless. Need to actually look at other options for routes rather than just seeing one and going for it.

Morning at Dulnain
Compass star, they decided the map was a bit off for some.

Moved to the bottom of the area with a marshy bit and did a course missing bits of detail in between legs

After lunch went back to Loch vaa for "creating a picture" exercises which were circle maps off so you couldn't work out north, was about picturing the leg. Did alright on the first but spent ages on #1 on the second because even when I did eventually get to the right place I couldn't find the kite.
