Still really tired and the pain in my shin has consistently been there since doing the time trial. Have tried rolling it/massaging it but could probs try harder.

Was told to do more flat speedwork but the only flat place near me is the canal which isnt lit (and involves doing an exta 5km), so made do with hyde park, just a small hill. Couldn't see where i was putting my feet thanks to lack of streetlights in the park and the headlights of all the queuing cars were blinding me.
Eventually decided there was enough light pollution to get me through the park, and eventually decided i could stay in the top section which is flat just running in the dark, so did the last two laps like this. this could work. still dark so not ideal and there are some potholes but we move.

5 x 800m [2:00] - 3:53, 3:56, 4:09, 4:01, 4:02

this time includes wd and my rests, 3 of which were walking so yeah not ideal but had my watch set to interval setting

im still feeling just slow

s&c 12:00 [2]

some of pauls exercises, then some of my physio exercises, then some random stuff to make the time a round number
everything was a bit random so i didnt give myself much rest at all, killed my calves trying to do both types of calf raises without a break
