Easy blackford with Alex for the first half and Tom for the first 5mins. Lovely day, very tempted to do more as couldn’t feel shin but managed to hold myself back. Think I made the right decision got to play it safe.

Round the meadows on road. Set out to do 30 mins but realised pretty soon that it wasn’t going to happen. Legs just felt dead and no energy, possibly because pre breakfast. Managed to keep a consistent (but quite slow) pace up to 20mins. Bit annoying to feel so shit at what should be a relatively comfortable pace. But good to get in 3 quality sessions this week and shin/calf seems to be holding up well.

Not the greatests session in the word. Was hard to get the speed ramped up on the grass wearing inov8s. Still managed around 2:55/km average for most which is alright I guess. Going to run Penicuik 10k on Saturday so didn’t want to trash the legs too much.

Spectating Dumyat Hill Race. Good fun just cruising up and back down. Nice to finally climb up a solid hill. Tom did well, well done Tom.

Paced fairly well. All averaged around 3:12/km pace which wasn’t too bad considering wet grass and flats. Felt controlled never really straining so overall a good session. Could feel shin a bit still as usual.
