What an absolute corker of a run. Weather was mixed but never got unbearable apart from a brief stint of sideways hail. Didn’t bonk, great company, just a dream. Couldn’t really ask for a better way to spend my Sunday.

Km Splits 3:27, 29, 27, 28, 28, 29, 28, 25, 26, 15

Very Happy with this. Felt completely shit on the WU, Ok in the 1st 5km and great in the 2nd 5km. Very consistent with a cheeky negative split which is nice. Kept at a tempo effort up to 9km then went a little bit more ham in the last km. very windy so was tough going up one end of the meadows but meant I could relax with a tailwind round the other end. Nice to feel so comfortable at the end and definitely finished with more in the tank.

EUOC Seat Long Run
Solid one. Managed 5 big climbs -> crags, seat direct, MFD, purkos, crags aswell as a couple of laps of kf. Ran all the climbs but pace was kept at a plod throughout. Felt decent up to basically the last drag up queens drive into a headwind where I did start to feel the bonk slightly. All good and happy now.

Good to be back and good to have mostly shaken illness. Managed to hold 3:10 - 3:15/km on the 4mins and subs 3s on the 1mins. Didn't feel that comfortable probably still due to illness but happy to finish strong. Max Bloor had an absolute field day, I honestly had to sacrifice my right kidney to stay infront of the boy. Very well done Max!
