Kept changing my mind over what session to do today. Settled on a progression but after 15 mins of running around threshold I got annoyed at the way my garmins average pace kept jumping. So instead of constantly looking at the watch I just nailed down a solid tempo for the last 15mins. Didn't feel too good but kept a nice solid pace all the way through.

Steady long run on the seat. Was meaning to do a hill session today but stress of exams made that the last thing I wanted to do. This was quite nice, felt better as the run went on and was a good way of taking my mind off the fact I am probably going to fail tomorrow.

Foot a little bit niggly so decided not to do the hill race. Really nice day again, felt really good for most although had quite a dry throat. Managed to catch the 2mile race aswell at the end of the ride which was a bonus.

Phys Testing: 1:45 into 20kph

Hmmm not really sure what to think of this one. Felt really bad for most of the test and even the lower speeds felt hard. Got 35 seconds further into 20kph than last time (Jan 2018) and overall had lower heart rates on the higher speed levels. My blood lactates were virtually identical. Big difference was that I now weigh nearly 6kg (the mass of a healthy baby) more than I weighed in Jan 2018, apparently "muscle mass", which as a result meant my VO2 max was lower. I was told my fitness is very similar to last time, maybe slightly higher. I was very fit in Jan 2018 with 4 months of solid training under my belt. I've only had a month before this test, so hopefully more improvements will follow.

Easy with Tim and Ali round KF and the crags. Legs feeling fine after phys testing so would have been rude not to go out in this mint weather. Tops off all the way, lovely.
