Hmmm not really sure what to think of this one. Felt really bad for most of the test and even the lower speeds felt hard. Got 35 seconds further into 20kph than last time (Jan 2018) and overall had lower heart rates on the higher speed levels. My blood lactates were virtually identical. Big difference was that I now weigh nearly 6kg (the mass of a healthy baby) more than I weighed in Jan 2018, apparently "muscle mass", which as a result meant my VO2 max was lower. I was told my fitness is very similar to last time, maybe slightly higher. I was very fit in Jan 2018 with 4 months of solid training under my belt. I've only had a month before this test, so hopefully more improvements will follow.
