Some affordable miles along the canal at a nice chill pace. Very peaceful and enjoyable. This is my first 70+km week this year hell yes! Need to start stretching and rolling in the evenings as I think that will be the key to not getting injured in future. On with some more mileage!

Very nice medium long run along the bridleway. Felt great today and could have done a lot more. Pace a bit fruity for my liking wasn't looking at the watch just going off feel. Guess it's not too much of an issue as I'm not doing any hard stuff at the moment so easy runs don't have to be quite as slow as normal.

Easy hour up round the Uni. One big climb that I perhaps took a bit too hard but otherwise nice and chill. Enjoying banking these easy miles.

Long run round bathampton down. Didn't look at watch for the whole run just tried to keep it nice and chill. Successful but did begin to feel a little bit tired towards the end. No major bonkage so all good.

Back hone so time to slowly start working towards the xc season. Thought I'd kick things off with a nice grindy raz along the canal. Found it hard to hit that sweet spot pace. Ran the first 4km a bit hard down at low 3:30/km pace. Slowed it down for a couple of ks then built it back up again before getting a stitch and having to slow the pace once more before a fast last km. Good fun but the stitch was annoying. Legs and body felt pretty good in general.
