Went camping with the trail runners i run with on sundays. We did a two hour easy trail run at sunset and some awesome night running to get used to head lamp usage. This was prob one of my fav runs because we took on some new trails of rolling hils and glorious views in Wisconsin. Felt great after the run which finished around 9pm.
For some reason that second half espt the last 12 mins was kind of a struggle. I wasnt completely exhausted but def felt a bit winded after. ** haha my least fav of your workouts =)
Hard to get on trails during the week this week but tried to find some hills throughout the city to compenstate. Right around 9:20 pace. Felt good weather was perfect today.
its intresting how I havent really lost weight since the first month of training but have lost a good amount of inches. I can see and feel the transformation of my physique. For some reason that realization came into play today when a pair of jeans felt loose today. haha
Took the day off today. As I looked at the schedule I saw i have some longer runs that I want to save for later in the week so wnat to start the week on some fresher legs.
Took on some new trails today. Single track aggressive footing but the hills were nice rolling hills. Def was able to get the feet wet. It rained pretty hard the night prior so my shoes were pretty wet and muddy the whole way. No probs with the feeling of wet shoes on my feet.
The run went well. I was relaxed and have learned to go out with the training group i was telling you about but fall back and run my own pace. It has helped tremednously in that I am able to finish my runs and bounce back fine the next day.
Pace was about 9:40-45 due to mud and walking up some hills.
